Help please.. free range & organic chicken?

Hi.

As far as I know, there are the following types of chicken available:

Battery farmed chicken
Free range chicken
Organic chicken

It’s number 3 I am a bit confused about. If a chicken label says “organic” does this automatically mean it is a free range bird as well? Or could it be a battery bird simply fed organic food?

Thanks.

A chicken fed on organic food can be either battery or free range. It should not be an assumption either that free range chickens are fed organic food. They are free and eat what they want.
