What are other causes of vaginal (external) itch?
I had this for a number of months. I was tested for each std under the sun. Clear all income. is never a yeast infection. I used to get it for only one week after my period, but it is almost constant. I wear cotton clothing. I switched to organic buffers. I do not use tampons. I do not shower vagina. I take acidophilus to help balance the flora. I use condoms. Not because I'm allergic spermicide that. I have not tried to use Non-latex type yet. I'm not sure that would help since the itch usually goes away for a day after sex. I eliminate possible causes of contact dermatitis. too early to tell yet if this could be the cause. I am also the pill (tri-cyclen). my doctor suggested that could be that as I age (I'm 29, been on the pill for 11 years), my body did not tolerate hormones than (I tried two sorts - no change) and I am having a reaction to my own body fluids. Has anyone ever heard of this? he wants me off the pill, but I'm tired.
