Mad cow Disease [BSE] – links and info?
Please give me some good links for information on BSE/Mad Cow Disease.
I’ve been told that the U.S. is not doing enough to protect people from Mad Cow Disease … screening for BSE is very poor… etc. I’ve also heard that you can get it from other meats … pork… chicken…even fish … and that I should only eat organic, grass-fed, and wild-caught meats and fish. (Oddly, I know that you CAN get it from eating squirrel brains – not something I have any plans to eat!!!)
Is our regular U.S. grocery store beef, pork, and chicken safe to eat???
