organic aloe vera juice
Heating/melting shea butter?
Hi I want to make my own hair styling products,shampoos and conditioners like they do on this site.

I don’t want to heat my unrefined shea butter when I make my hair products because I don’t want to lose any good properties in the shea butter.Will this happen to the shea butter when it is heated?.I will love to mix aloe vera juice(Water phase A),oils and butter(oil phase B),and emulsifier(phase C) all together without heating anything but it seems to me that everyone makes their hair products by heating it so it might not be avoided.I wonder if aubrey organics heat their oils when they make their conditioners? because their conditioner for dry hair is very moisterizing=)
I mean to say if aubrey organics heat their butters when they make their conditioners.
I dont know much about making own hair products.
But generally,just melting doesnt destroy butter, but overheating would do that.So just warm it a little to make it liquid.
