certified organic
where can I buy certified organic citric acid for my 100% organic food product?
I really need it organic if possible. It is for a 100% organic product, and I see companies using it, but I cannot find it anywhere…
I need it to add acidity to the food product without the overwhelming taste of lemon or lime to be in it, and it needs to be organic.
This is for a ditributed food product, not for home consumption. The citric acid needs to be Certified Organic, not made by me from citrus, but an industrial product which is made is such a way that it is certified Orgainic (without pesticides or fungicides or herbicides). Not regular citric acid. It must be certified Organic. Thank you.
My guess would be to find a very mild, organic vinegar? A lot of products-everything from Ketchup to salad dressing- contain vinegar in small amounts. I think it is used for acidic purposes. It’s also one of those things that’s cost effective to buy organic. Should be easy to find organic vinegar. Good luck!
